PROJECT BABEE

Project BaBEE is a community outreach project that developed after Dr. Lynn started seeing more clients that suffered miscarriage as well as having 2 miscarriages herself and realizing that there was a definite gap in care as many families felt unsupported through their experiences. In an endeavor to increase education, the power of community, and extend support to families and mommas, Dr. Lynn began meeting with both healthcare providers and others in the community who had a passion to support those suffering this loss.

There are so many unmet needs when a women goes through expecting to the unexpected and increased support for her and her family is needed from every facet. From her meetings with community leaders as well as initiating her own research, Dr. Lynn compiled a list of local resources to assist families in supporting their need to heal while also increasing communication on miscarriage which is not a topic that is readily covered in the community. Her hope through Project BaBEE is to increase awareness of gaps in healthcare that may lead to a lack of support for families going through the unexpected as well as helping families to connect with groups, financial resources, and others who may have experienced this too.
